Malaysia’s First Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill to Open in Kuala Lumpur

Mark your calendars! Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill KL is finally going to open in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 18 Jun 2022. The Bar & Grill will be Ramsay’s first Malaysian restaurant outside the United Kingdom. 

A restaurant fit for a king

Expect a luxurious dining experience at the popular Sunway Resort. The restaurant is located on the same floor as the hotel lobby, with a seating capacity of 150 guests. 

The interior is designed to fit the prestige attached to the multi-starred Michelin star. Guests can treat themselves to the floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of Sunway Lagoon, or dine intimately at one of the themed private dining rooms. If not, you can take a chance at the semi-private booths in the main dining area. 

Following a dark red and forest green colour scheme, the restaurant has various elements to match: walnut hardwood floors, brass finishes, and 24-karat gold leaf ceilings. Portraits of British icons are placed throughout the space too, including Sir Sean Connery, Twiggy, and Sir Mick Jagger. 

What’s on the menu for us?

Inspired by Savoy Grill — one of London’s most iconic restaurants — the all-day menu will feature various snacks and light bites, as well as Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes. Do you remember Gordon Ramsay’s Beef Wellington? Yeah! You can finally enjoy it tableside. 

But the menu doesn’t stop there. Diners can also expect various other dishes, including Spiced Beef Tartare with Egg Yolk Confit, Arnold Bennett Twice-baked Cheese Soufflé with Mornay Sauce, and Dover Sole with Grenobloise capers sauce. You can even enjoy Malaysian-inspired cocktails at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill KL’s very own cocktail bar. 

For wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts, there’s a wine cellar with an impressive selection from around the world. You can expect the very best while you’re here!

Unfortunately, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill KL is fully booked all the way to August 2022. Reservations initially started back in February, and it’s no wonder people lined up for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. 

In the meantime, let’s celebrate the grand opening of the brand’s fourth outlet!
